December 8 Moment of peace. An hour or a day or a week of solitude. What was the quality of your breath? The state of your mind? How did you get there?

What? Haha. Uhm. I like to take bubble baths when I’m stressed. 1 or 2 hour long ones at least! Preferably with candles, music, and a good book or my journal. Sadly, pregnancy (and my wicked-bad thrush) has stolen these respites from me.

December 9 Challenge. Something that really made you grow this year. That made you go to your edge and then some. What made it the best challenge of the year for you?

So far I can honestly say this pregnancy! It’s been kind of miserable. Sometimes I get panicky and feel trapped in my body – like it’s only going to get worse and I can’t get away from it, haha. Let me be clear: I LOVE that we’re having a baby finally, and I can’t wait to meet him. But my pregnancy has been really hard and I kind of hate it and can’t wait for it to be over! It’s definitely made me grow, literally and figuratively. I had to define a new “I feel normal,” create entirely new ideas of what I get to eat, watch the scale tick up into a whole new set of hundreds for the first time ever and be okay with it… yeah. It’s been a crazy trip. I will be glad when it’s over!

December 10 Album of the year. What’s rocking your world?

Lady Gaga, hahahaha. Don’t laugh/point/sneer at me. That girl is like a crazy alien, and I love it.

December 11 The best place. A coffee shop? A pub? A retreat center? A cubicle? A nook?

My bed! I’ve been doing lots of resting up in it, ha. I would say our house, but it’s not finished yet.

December 12 New food. You’re now in love with Lebanese food and you didn’t even know what it was in January of this year.

Hm, sorry, I didn’t try Lebanese food this year. I did just eat Tobasco the other day willingly. That’s new for me. I figure it’s a pregnancy thing. We’ll see if it lasts!

December 13 What’s the best change you made to the place you live?

Buying a house and watching it be built. It’s not DONE yet, but I’m sure it’s going to be the best change we have ever made to where we live!

December 14 Rush. When did you get your best rush of the year?

Peeing on that stick and seeing it light up like Las Vegas on the Fourth of July with a plus sign! That was INSANE!
